How to find Pen
Y Garth B&B, Harlech
By Car
From Barmouth and the South:
Take the A496. After Llanbedr look for the Llanfair Slate
Caverns and children’s farm park and take the next turn
right into Llanfair village. Follow this road into Harlech
for about one & half miles. You will find us just before the
sharp left bend opposite Pant Mawr.
From the North:
Follow the A496 towards Harlech but take the B4573 to the
town centre at Glan-Y-Wern. Drive through the town centre
passing the Spar shop. Continue past the car park on your
left and turn left immediately past the TV shop also on your
left. Go uphill bearing left past the library (old school)
and you will find us at the top of the hill on the right.
Our car park is immediately around the bend on the right.
On foot
From the railway station walk up hill to the Castle and turn
right on to the High Street just after the Ice Cream shop.
Walk through the town passing the Spar shop until you reach
the car park on your left. Turn left here and walk up hill
passing the entrance to the car park and the bus stop.
Continue to the top of this road through the bollards and
you will see us immediately opposite.
